The Power
of God
How You Can Tap Into
It

"And it came to
pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and
doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out
of every town of Galilee,
and Judea,
and Jerusalem:
and the power of the Lord was present to heal them." (Luke 5:17)
The Bible reveals that
God loves all people so much that He’s even willing to heal His
enemies. That’s right. God does not even want His enemies to be
sick.
In the text that you
just read there were Pharisees and doctors of the law present one day when
Jesus was teaching the Bible. The majority of these individuals were
Jesus’ enemies. They were there to find fault with Him. They
were not there for any other reason except to cause trouble.
Yet, the Bible says, “The
power of the Lord was present to heal them.”
Of course, none of
them did receive healing that day. The reason for that was they did
not know how to take advantage of the always-present Power of God. It
wasn’t God’s fault they didn’t get healed of whatever sickness they may
have had. It was their own fault.
Are you sick in your
body today? Do you love God? Do you love Jesus?
If you
do, God wants to heal you as much as He wanted to heal even those who were
His enemies. The same Power of God that was present to heal His
enemies is present to heal you right now. All you need to do is learn
how to tap into that Power by faith.
Wherever you are at this
moment, there are television satellite signals surrounding you that you
cannot see. They are passive, inert and inactive signals. But
just because you cannot see them does not mean they are not there. If
you were to hook up a satellite dish and plug in a receiver, you could
begin to receive those ever-present signals and actually view them on a
television screen.
God’s Power is the same
way. It is right there where
you are. It is passive, inert and inactive, but it is
there. It's invisible but it's there. God is waiting for you to
throw the faith-switch and receive His Power.
How do you do
that? By opening your mouth and saying, “I believe I receive the Power of
God to heal my body, in Jesus’ Name.”
That’s how people in the Bible
got healed and had other needs met. I’ll give you an example.
"And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood
twelve years, and had suffered many things of many physicians, and had
spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse,
When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his
garment. FOR SHE SAID, IF I MAY TOUCH BUT HIS CLOTHES, I SHALL BE
WHOLE. And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and
she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague." (Mark
5:25-29)
This lady tapped into
the Power of God by saying, “…I shall be whole.” You can do
that. You can say, “I shall be whole in Jesus’ Name,” concerning your
body, your finances, your family, your employment or anything else. That’s how you hit the power switch.
That’s how you tap into the ever-present Power of God.
Keep saying it again and
again. Watch what happens. The secret to life is
expecting the miraculous and SAYING SO! God’s Power is
always present. You must tap into it with the words of your
mouth. That’s what people in the Bible did. (Proverbs 18:21)
Go to the Bible.
Find where God promises to help you concerning whatever need
you might have. If you need help doing that, go to your Pastor. You could e-mail
me concerning your problem and I'll show you what God has agreed
to do about it in the Bible. Then you can take His Biblical promise
and start speaking it out of your mouth. That's when miracles
happen. Faith is released through the
mouth.
Some people criticize
this powerful principle.
Someone asked me, "Oh, are you one of
those Name It and Claim It's?"
To which I responded, "Yes,
I am. Better to be a Name It and Claim It than to be a Doubt It and
Live Without It."
You can put this
powerful principle into operation in your life. Ignore the doubters,
the head-shakers and the tongue-waggers.
God Almighty said it will work for you. Therefore, it will work
for you.
There is, however, one
condition. You must make Jesus Christ the Lord of your
life by simply saying, "Jesus, You're my choice." (Romans
10:13)
That's when you become a member of God's family. (John
1:12) That's when Almighty God will start backing up whatever you
say, as long as it's according to His Written Word.
(John 15:7)
That's when things will
stop happening TO you and will start happening FOR you.
