You Make Me Sick!

Then You Try to Blame God

“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.”  (Acts 10:38)

The Bible says God anointed or “empowered” Jesus to do “good,” to heal and help all who are oppressed of Satan.  

This upsets the theology of many religious leaders who teach that Jesus and God make people sick to teach them things.  They also teach that any type of “supernatural” healing comes from Satan himself. 

I have been serving Jesus for over three decades now and I am still appalled by religious leaders who do not read their Bibles. 

Anyone can read the above verse of Scripture and clearly see that all oppression comes from Satan and healing and goodness come from God!  

Anyone who believes otherwise is deceived! 

Anyone who believes that sickness comes from God and healing comes from Satan actually believes that Satan is more merciful than God.  

That’s some pretty goofed up thinking according to the Bible.

Everywhere Jesus went He healed sick people, no questions asked.  

Let’s read a few verses of Scripture to more clearly see that Satan makes people sick and God heals them. 

“When the even was come, they brought unto Him many that were possessed with devils: and He cast out the spirits with His word, and healed all that were sick:  That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.” (Matthew 8:16-17)

“But when Jesus knew it, he withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed Him, and He healed them all.” (Matthew 12:15)

“… all they that had any sick with divers diseases brought them unto Him; and He laid His hands on every one of them, and healed them.” (Luke 4:40)

“And the whole multitude sought to touch Him: for there went virtue out of Him, and healed them all.” (Luke 6:19)

The Bible never teaches that God or Jesus ever made anyone sick.  Quite to the contrary.  

Jesus said, “The thief [Satan] cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10)  

Sickness is nothing less than Satan killing, stealing and destroying your health.  It certainly is not abundance of life!

There is a lady in the Bible who had such severe back problems that for 18 years she couldn’t stand up straight.  Jesus came along and said, “Ought not this woman…WHOM SATAN HATH BOUND, be loosed from this bondage…?” (Luke 13:16)  

He then set her free supernaturally!  He did that to demonstrate His Father’s will to those people. 

Jesus never violated His Father’s will.  

He said, “For I come down from Heaven not to do my own will, but the will of Him who sent me.” (John 6:38) 

Therefore, it’s just not possible for Christians to believe that God would ever make His children sick for any reason.  

Not one single time will you ever find Jesus making people sick in the Bible.  

However, everywhere Jesus went, He did cast out evil spirits who were making people sick and healed those precious individuals.

Now you know.  Now you can say, “Satan, YOU MAKE ME SICK, NOT GOD.  I’ll not tolerate it any longer.  Back off, in Jesus’ Name.” 

If you’ve not asked Jesus to be your Savior, say, “Jesus, You’re my choice.” (Romans 10:13)  

Then withstand that sickness, in Jesus’ Name.  

It’ll go.  It has to!
