The Misappropriation of God-Given Resources 

The present judgment upon America through the re-election of Mr. Obama could very likely have been avoided had only extremely wealthy Christian television executives and popular, extremely wealthy, influential Ministers properly used their God-given resources to call Christian America to repentance before this man could be re-elected. 

For whatever their fear-based reasons, they simply did not bother to do so. They proudly continued in their pursuit of using their great wealth and influence to further increase their great wealth and influence. What an indictment!

We personally watched during the first term of “The Obama Administration. Phase One. Warning” to see who would be the ones to use their tremendous God-given resources to full-bore call America to repentance to prevent a four-year administration of warning from turning into an eight-year administration of judgment.

We also noticed when Mr. Obama ran for re-election, once again, none of the wealthy Christian TV executives or high-profile wealthy Ministers used their influence and resources to prevent the re-election of Barack Obama by preaching the message of Christian American repentance, with the exception of 94-year-old Billy Graham. 

Not even one of the wealthy Ministers, some whom we supported for decades and once held in the highest esteem, took their cue from Rev. Graham. He invested millions of Ministry dollars, purchasing full page ads in twenty-six major newspapers across the country, imploring Christian America to repent in their hearts, to come to the polls and vote Christian values in order to keep this evil administration of warning from advancing into an administration of judgment.  

Rev. Graham also embarked upon the largest, most expensive and extensive campaign of his Ministry through what is called "Matthew and Friends."  Five months before the re-election of Barack Obama, from his living room by Cable television and Internet he reached out to the largest audience in his history, attempting to transform America by reaching at least 50,000 Churches and asking 300,000 Americans to open their homes to train people for a great revival that will transform America. 

He also wrote a public letter to Christian America asking them to repent for their pride, self-indulgence, shamelessness for sin and told them they were "deceived." Quite obviously, Rev. Graham was not even slightly concerned that doing so would diminish the size of his mailing list or hinder financial support coming in. He listened to the Holy Spirit, obeyed his heart and at great expense and effort reached out to his backslidden country.  

No one in Ministry, regardless of their wealth or influence, even came close to what Rev. Graham did.  Had they done so, many more backslidden Christian Americans would have been reached and would have repented and God's first choice for President would most likely have been achieved.

Many tremendously wealthy Ministers of the Gospel are still not getting the message that God gives great wealth for great service to the Kingdom, not for great status for oneself. Many continue to selfishly reject the counsel of their own father in the faith, Dr. Kenneth E. Hagin, who stated, "Ministers should not live in extravagant homes or drive extravagant automobiles. It offends and injures many." Dr. Hagin was absolutely right. More people are turned off to Jesus than are turned on to Jesus by the extreme, un-Biblical teaching which we call "Hyper-Prosperity." 

See Dr. Hagin's book "The Midas Touch. A Balanced Approach to Biblical Prosperity" for his excellent Bible teaching on where his own spiritual offspring have gone extremely wrong concerning faith and finances.

Christian television executives and Gospel Ministers are intended of God to be like burning candles.  They are to consume themselves while lighting the way for others.  Unfortunately, many of them are in the business of consuming others while lighting the way mostly for themselves.  

Theirs will be the stricter judgment when all is said and done. (James 3:1)

This is just another reason why the spirit of anti-Christ was allowed to maintain its death grip on Christian America as a result of the 2012 Presidential election.

Christian America allowed it, so God had no choice but to allow it for America’s ultimate good.

Sometimes judgment is the only way men and nations learn to bow to a Holy God.

Christian America is being snow-jobbed by Satanic heresies such as Hyper-Prosperity, Hyper-Grace, Universal Reconciliation and the Deification of Man. This is why an avalanche of God's judgment has come to America.

Chapter 2:  Repentance, Not Faith, Will Turn Back America's Present Judgment 

The authors are people of faith. We believe in the message of faith and we teach faith principles. This is clearly revealed in our public Ministry, in our writings and all across our website, particularly at our JHM Online Bible Training Centre. 

We believe it is the will of God to meet the needs of His people and to protect His people through what we refer to as the "Unfailing Laws of Personal Faith." The Bible teaches that Believers in Jesus Christ must use their faith in order to have their needs met as proficiently as God desires.  We would never discourage anyone from properly using their faith for anything at anytime. 

However, for Pastors and Ministers to wrongly teach people they can "use faith" to exclude themselves from or to turn back the present judgment of God in America without repentance is foolishness and presumption.  

Only repentance by sinful individuals or nations can turn back the judgment of God.  

It is not possible to live with sin in our lives or to condone sin in our midst and then use our faith to override the consequences thereof. 

Many today are teaching that God would prefer to forgive than to judge and if we will "use faith" He will bless us in spite of our national sins.  

This is a grotesque distortion of true Bible faith.  The Apostle Paul made it clear that without repentance there can be no faith for anything. (Acts 20:21)  

We have personally sat in congregations as well as read postings by Internet where Pastors and Preachers are wrongly telling their congregations, "Having faith redeems Christians from America's present judgment." 

They make misinformed statements such as, "It doesn't matter who is President. Jesus will still bless us." or "Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the Law of Sin and Death according to Galatians 3:13-14. All the bad things that are going on out there don't involve us. We can use our faith and be blessed no matter what's going on out there."

Apparently they are unaware that America's present judgment is Christian America's present judgment, not just secular America's present judgment. 

Apparently they are unaware or have forgotten that the Bible says, "Judgment begins in the House of God." (1 Peter 4:17) 

America is eighty-five percent Christian by most estimates. 

The judgment that has come to America has not simply come to the remaining fifteen percent who do not profess Christianity. It would be foolish to believe that.  

America's present judgment has come to all of America, particularly Christianity, for the vast majority of Christian America is horribly backslidden and responsible for the fall of America.  This is why God requires His people to do the repenting and not the fifteen percent who are not His people. 

"If My people which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." (2 Chronicles 7:14)

Either the faith Preachers who teach God is not judging His Body are right and God is wrong, or God is right and the faith Preachers who teach God is not judging His Body are wrong. It does not take a genius IQ to realize that because God and His Word are never wrong, that only the faith Preachers who are teaching this error could be the ones who are wrong.

It would be true that "The bad things that are going on do not involve Christians" if so many of those Christians being addressed were not themselves living immorally. (1 Corinthians 6:9-10) 

It would be true if so very many Christians were not condoning sexual sin in their Churches and in their midst and were Biblically and obediently confronting it. (1 Corinthians 5:9-13) 

It would be true if so many of the Christians being addressed were not refusing to stay out of strife and were walking in love. (James 3:14-16)  

It would also be true if so many of those Christians being addressed were strongly opposing abortion and homosexuality in society and were taking a strong stand in defense of Israel as the Bible requires. (Luke 1:41-44; 1 Corinthians 6:9-10; Psalm 122:6-9)

However, the majority of American Christians have been deliberately and miserably falling down on the job in all of these areas.  Were this not true, there would be no need for this present judgment which has indeed come to Christian America.

Millions of Christians are living with people to whom they are not married and most Pastors and their congregations refuse to confront it.  

There is an epidemic of fornication and adultery in most local Churches and most Pastors and their congregations refuse to confront it.  

We ministered in a Church were we were actually invited to lunch with the Pastor, his wife and two people who were committing adultery with one another and the Pastor and his wife knew it.  The Pastor claimed, "It's not my job to correct anybody." That was one lunch invitation we sharply declined.    

Increasingly Christian congregations live with in-house fighting and rampant strife in their midst where the Pastor either cooperates with it directly, uses it to his advantage or turns a blind eye to it.  The Bible says where strife is allowed to exist the devil is free to ride roughshod over individuals and congregations. 

We ministered in a Church where there was more open strife than possibly any other Church we had been to. The Pastor refused to quench it.  There was also more cancer in that Church than in any Church we had ever ministered in. The level of the cancer in that Church was equal to or greater than the level of strife. The Bible warns of strife opening the door to "every evil work."  That would include cancer. (James 3:16) It is the Pastor's responsibility to address strife whenever it exists, putting an immediate end to it. (2 Timothy 4:2, Amplified Bible)

The majority of Christians do absolutely nothing about America's gargantuan problem with abortion.  Sixty-eight percent of the 56 million legal abortions performed since "Roe v Wade" have been performed on Christians.  This reveals that the majority of Christian Churches have members who have had abortions, have helped others to have abortions, condone abortion and even believe in abortion.  This would include Pentecostal congregations.  It is the Pastor's responsibility to address this and to change it. (2 Timothy 4:2, Amplified Bible)

The majority of Christians do absolutely nothing in defense of God's favored nation, Israel.  Christian America's problem with not wholeheartedly defending Israel against her terrorist enemies is unacceptable to Holy God. To think Christian America's weak, off and on, unpredictable, dishonest, underhanded, sloppy handling of democratic Israel would not ire the God of Israel is to not be thinking at all. (Genesis 12:3; Jeremiah 12:14-16) 

It is the Pastor's responsibility to educate the congregation concerning Christian America's Biblical connection to God through Israel.

The High Cost of Any Christian's Low Esteem for Israel 

Even Prophets face judgment for showing contempt for Israel.

A once widely-recognized Word of Faith Prophet has publicly stated that the Christian's connection to Jesus Christ has nothing whatsoever to do with the Nation of Israel.  Apparently he does not know, or care, that the Bible teaches otherwise when it is his job to both know and care.  

Sadly, in many cases, when God manifests and demonstrates His power through certain individuals they begin to get puffed up with pride. They begin to believe just because they are gifted in one area that they are gifted in all areas.  They begin to believe that just because God showed them a little something from the Bible that they know everything about the Bible. This is what happens when one tries to build their Ministry on their Gifts, anointings and personalities and not strictly on God's Word. 

This is why the Bible demands that we study to show ourselves approved of God and not just shoot our big mouths off because we think we are special. Any Minister who thinks he is "special" has only one special attribute that sets him apart from others - special ignorance which is guaranteed to produce special shame. 

The Apostle Paul told young Pastor Timothy that studying a subject before trying to teach that subject will keep one from great shame. (2 Timothy 2:15) 

The Christian's connection to Jesus Christ is indeed directly through Israel, even if a popular Prophet speaks against God's Word and says otherwise.  

The Bible reveals that Abraham and Israel gave us Jesus. 

It is because Abraham, the Hebrew, agreed to allow the Redeemer to come through his loins that God has covenanted with the entire Hebrew nation in the way that He has.   

Israel gave us the Old Testament.  Israel gave us the twelve Apostles of the Lamb.  Israel gave us the Apostle Paul who, in turn, gave us the New Testament through both his tremendous knowledge of the Old Testament and direct revelation of the New through personal visitations of the Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 11:1; Philippians 3:5; 2 Corinthians 12:1)  

Without the Nation of Israel we would have no America, no Bible, no salvation, no Covenant, no Father Abraham, no Savior and no power. (Joel 2:28; Acts 2:16-17; Romans 1:3; 8:15; 15:8; Ephesians 2:12; Galatians 3:13-14, 29)  

It is quite obvious that Israel does not need America or Christianity to define her heritage, but most definitely America and Christianity need Israel to define theirs. To say that the Christian's connection to Jesus has nothing to do with the nation of Israel is absolutely unfounded, simply not true and Bible illiterate.

This very same Word of Faith Minister has also stated that he does not understand what the big deal is with Abraham, Israel and Christianity because, in his words, "The Bible doesn't even say that Abraham was a Jew." 

We heard him speak those words and were rocked with astonishment for the Bible does indeed state that Abraham was a Jew.  The term "Jew" is an abbreviated form of the word "Judah."  In the Old Testament the Hebrew nation is often simply referred to as "Judah."  Therefore, Hebrews are "Judahs" or "Jews."  

Now let's read what the Bible says about the uninformed Minister's statement, "The Bible doesn't even say that Abraham was a Jew."

"And they took Lot, Abram's brother's son, who dwelt in Sodom, and his goods, and departed. And there came one that had escaped, and told Abram the Hebrew ..." (Genesis 14:12-13)   

Why a Pentecostal Minister of the Gospel, a Prophet no less, would insist that the Christian's connection to Jesus Christ has nothing to do with Israel and that Abraham was not even a Jew is far beyond us.  However, one thing is for certain.  This type of prevailing attitude against the Hebrew nation, publicly stated, certainly garners the attention of the God of Israel in an unwanted and unneeded way in that Prophet's life.

It is no small wonder to look at this Prophet today and see that his thinking became so clouded and degenerate as a result of his prideful, un-Biblical, disrespectful and even hateful attitude towards Israel, that he ended up actually performing an incestuous wedding ceremony which resulted in tremendous, permanent harm to his reputation and great loss to his Ministry. 

The authors also personally heard this Prophet boast in a Ministers' Conference of being able to sexually satisfy his wife who was twenty years his junior. Apparently, through his pride-clouded thinking, he really believed everyone in that Ministers' Conference was wondering if he was able to do so or not at his age. He foolishly marked and shamed himself terribly by ever doing such a thing in the presence of both male and female Ministers of the Gospel.

Ministers, Prophets in particular, must be very careful to not become so overconfident in themselves that they become lax in or out of the pulpit. Ten thousand "Atta boy!"(s) can be so quickly undone by one "Oh, no!"

This Prophet's decline began with his pride and his publicly expressed low esteem for God's favored Nation of Israel.

"The wise shall inherit glory: but shame shall be the promotion of fools." (Proverbs 3:35) 

Christians and Christian Ministers, including Prophets, who pridefully lift their hands or their voices against Israel incur strict judgment. (Genesis 12:3; Jeremiah 12:14-17; Zechariah 12:3; James 3:1)

King Nebuchadnezzar learned the all-important lesson of putting one's own pride down or the Laws of Sowing and Reaping will do it for you.  He also learned the importance of resisting the temptation to abuse Israel just because one does not necessarily like Israel. 

Nebuchadnezzar lost his mind temporarily as well, all as a result of thinking he knew better than God and the Scriptures. (Daniel 4:1-37)

This Word of Faith Prophet's pride and ungodly attitude toward the nation of Israel and the Jewish people is prevalent all across the Body of Christ and has finally resulted in judgment, not only for him but for all who suffer with the same affliction of pride and low esteem for Israel. 

Sure, many Christians take a stand for Israel, but in comparison to those who do not, it is a comparatively small number.

It is a dangerous thing for Christians to ignore Israel's plight or to speak and act against Israel at anytime, in any way, for any reason. 

To do so will readily cause things to stop happening for the guilty party and to start happening to them.

Presumption's Danger Zone 

It is equally as dangerous for a Pastor to stand before his congregation and tell them, "It doesn't matter who's President. Presidents come and Presidents go. Jesus will continue to bless us."

It is unrealistic, irresponsible, wholly and completely un-Biblical for a Minister of the Gospel to tell the Body of Christ they can "use faith" to overcome this present judgment for Christian America's gross national sins without ever even mentioning the fact that Jesus said, "Except ye repent ye shall likewise perish." (Luke 13:1-5)  

That is not faith. 

That is foolishness. 

That is human presumption and pride.

It simply is not true that the judgment that has come to the United States of America can be overridden "by faith" particularly when those who attempt to do so are living in any or all of the above-mentioned sinful ways and perpetuating the problem.

If "living by faith can overcome what's going on out there in the world" is true, please answer the following questions.  

Will Christians be able to "use faith to overcome" when the 1st Amendment of the U.S. Constitution and freedom of speech is overturned and outlawed?  If Christian America refuses to repent, the Obama Administration's plan to overturn the 1st Amendment will be accomplished.  Once it is, if Preachers attempt to stand up and preach the Gospel, they will be arrested and imprisoned in spite of any presumptuous attempts to "use faith" to make it all go away. 

Will Christian gun-owners be able to "use faith" and keep their weapons when the 2nd Amendment of the U.S. Constitution is overturned and gun ownership is outlawed?  If Christian America refuses to repent, the Obama Administration's plan to overturn the 2nd Amendment will be accomplished as well. Will Preachers be preaching "What's going on out there doesn't include us. We can keep our guns by faith" at that time?  If it ever came to the overturning of the 2nd Amendment, only a fool would tell a congregation something like that.  He and they would be arrested, imprisoned and who knows what else.

If indeed "Christians are redeemed by faith from what's going on out there" does this mean that the new tax laws which have been recently heavily imposed upon the American people by this Administration of judgment do not include them?  Does it mean we do not have to pay the higher taxes because we are "redeemed from what's going on out there"?  

How about being forced to purchase health insurance, as all Americans must do or be severely penalized?  Are Christians "redeemed by faith" from this as well? 

Should violent Sharia Law overtake America, which is the ultimate goal of the devout Muslim, Barack Hussein Obama, will Christians be able to "use faith" to overcome it and not submit to it because "we are redeemed and it doesn't include us"?  They would be severely disciplined and even executed for attempting to do so. 

It is a poorly thought through and unenlightened conviction when a "Faith Preacher" stands up and tells American Christians that they are "redeemed by faith from what is presently going on in the United States of America."  

This is particularly true when the people who are being addressed are some of the very ones who have opened the door to judgment coming to Christian America. They have done this through their own sexual immorality as well as turning a blind eye to homosexuality coming into the Church, 56 million convenience abortions performed in the past 40 years and America's constant, unyielding taunting Israel and tampering with her security. 

"People of faith," particularly "Word of Faith" and Pentecostal people, which the authors are, need to wake up above all others because they have been believing the lie that God would choose to forgive America and to forego judging America in spite of America's sins.  Many Pentecostals are believing the lie that sin has not run amuck within their own company of Believers as it has in other denominations, when surely it has.

Pentecostal Preachers have been the slowest to catch on to God's present judgment of America while Baptist Ministers such as Rev. Dr. Billy Graham are quick to preach "repentance" and "God's judgment has come to America."  

Word of Faith and Pentecostal Christians and Ministers are as guilty as all other denominations when it comes to "The Dirty Church."  

Word of Faith and Pentecostal Believers are as guilty of immorality and strife as any of America's biggest denominations.  It is pure fantasy to believe that one can turn a blind eye to sin in their midst, or even in their own personal lives, and then "use faith" to overcome Christian America's present judgment.  

This is one of the most deadly ways that "living by faith" is being taken much too far by Word of Faith and Pentecostal Christianity. This is as un-Biblical and extreme as the Joseph Prince Hyper-Grace lie "Christians need never ask forgiveness for sin again for it is automatically forgiven in Jesus." 

This horrific lie, by the way, has been strongly promoted by Christian television in spite of the fact that it is entirely un-Biblical.  But because it rakes in the dough when people hear they can have all the benefits without any of the responsibilities, it is given mega, prime-time airing.

No Christian or Minister who lives in secret sin or who refuses to deal with it in their midst is "redeemed by faith" from the judgment that is presently occurring in Christian America. 

As a matter of fact, decades of living with secret sin and open disobedience, compounded by Pastors turning a blind eye to it, is what has finally brought this present judgment to Christian America.  

Rev. Billy Graham was talking to all of Christian America, including far too many Word of Faith and Pentecostal Christians and Ministers, when he recently said, "Self-centered indulgence, pride and a lack of shame over sin are now emblems of the American lifestyle.  My heart aches for America and its deceived people."

Sadly, many Preachers do not hear the voice of the Holy Spirit in what Rev. Graham has stated for the following reason. 

For many decades now many Pastors and Preachers have become so adept at quenching the voice of the Holy Spirit when He tells them to correct sin within their congregations that they have hardened their hearts to His voice and can no longer hear Him. There is a well-developed, thick callous built up around their hearts that prevents them from hearing. They have lost sensitivity of heart through their own fear, compromise and disobedience.

"Today if ye will hear His voice, harden not your hearts." (Hebrews 4:7)

Preaching Repentance Results in the Miraculous 

Word of Faith and Pentecostal Pastors in particular will be stunned to see the number of people who would either leave their Churches or come to the altar, even to the Pastor's office, if calls for repentance over sexual sin were given on a regular basis. They would also be amazed to see the return of the anointing.  

If timid Pastors would ask God for boldness and begin preaching the message of repentance for sin week in and week out, they would be literally stunned not only by the number of people who would leave or repent, but by who those individuals actually are.  They would find even their own family members as well as their staff members either running for cover or repenting and running to the altar for forgiveness. Either one will restore the anointing.

They would also be literally amazed by the way the Gifts of the Spirit and miracles would come into operation as the people began to repent.  

Pastor, do you wonder why revival and the supernatural is bypassing you?  In most cases it is because you are blocking the spout where the miracles come out because you are too timid to start preaching the word of repentance and not stop until you see the miraculous results.  

You have been timid and remiss in your unwillingness to stand up and tell your people, "I am going to ask the Lord to show me every person in this congregation who is committing fornication, adultery, pedophilia, incest or any similar sexual sins.  When He does, which He will, I am going to confront you unless you leave or repent immediately. I would prefer that you repent and stay, but I will no longer allow you to continue to stop the miraculous from occurring in the lives of those who are living right just because you think you are entitled to sit here with those demons on you and grieve the Holy Spirit."  

You will be amazed at what God will do.  It is not possible for you to stand up and make a bold statement like that and for God to not take you on in your faith.  He is the One Who told you to preach repentance.  So why don't you just do a little thing and obey Him.  He will do a big thing and confirm it for you. 

Just do it, Pastor, then boldly stick by your word. The ones who have been correctly referring to you as timid will see the change and reverence God.

It works every time.

Someone said, "Pastor Hamel, what if I do that and it doesn't work?"  I said, "What if you do it and it does? Because it will."

Someone else said, "What if I do it and most of my people leave?"  To which we say, "Good, they needed to go. Now God can work the miraculous amongst those who want to live right. Once miracles start occurring, word will get out and people will come running. Miracles are the dinner bell to salvation.  You'll end up with a hundred times more people in this coming Revival than you had when you were allowing the stench of sin to fester and fill the air."

When I (Pastor John) was a child my grandfather owned a trucking company in Boston, Massachusetts. My father and uncles would take semi-trucks to the fishing boats docked alongside Commonwealth Pier. Sometimes I would go along with them. They would load the trucks with iced fish from the boats and then haul it into New York City.  Sometimes I would walk around the pier to look at the fishing boats. Occasionally I would see one that was beginning to sink. As the bilge would flood with seawater the rats would come up from down below and scurry up the dock lines, even over one another, to keep from drowning. 

When a Pastor begins to preach the strong word of repentance, it may initially appear that it is the wrong thing to do. It may appear that your boat is sinking. Some people who do not want to change are going to trip over themselves to get to the exits. That is normal and to be expected. It is just the rats who do not want to be drowned by change, running up the dock lines and disappearing in order to save themselves. 

Once all the rats are gone, God will drop in the bilge pump and you will be floating safely again  in a short matter of time. He will also fill you up with a fresh load of fish and whatever new deck hands may be necessary. True fishermen are glad to see the rats go because they are nasty, vicious and infectious.

We recently held a series of revival meetings for the Pastor of a fairly large, very successful Church in the South. Prior to going to the services, I (Pastor John) was caught up in a trance while praying at 3:00 in the morning.  In the trance I saw and heard myself preaching from Deuteronomy 6:2 and then giving an altar call for those who wanted to repent for sexual immorality, with many responding. 

When we arrived at the Church, I imitated exactly what I saw in the trance, even preaching the same message I both saw and heard myself preaching in the trance based on Deuteronomy 6:2. 

After the message, which clearly revealed that fornication and adultery do not give reverence to God, but rather it grieves Him, the call was given for repentance.  Those who were grieving God because of their immoral lifestyles began to come forth seeking forgiveness for fornication, adultery and prostitution even as I had seen in the trance. (Acts 10:9-16; 22:17-21; Revelation 1:9-11)

The Pastor was shocked at both the number of people and the type of people who came forward to repent. His head was spinning for weeks afterward as a result of seeing people whom he never suspected of sexual sin coming forth to repent. 

He later told us that for at least a week after we left his own family, congregation and staff members were still coming to his office, in some cases getting on their knees, to repent to him for having been living in sexual sin behind his back.  He said to us, "You did me a favor preaching like that.  I didn't know this was occurring.  Even if I did, I could never have stood up to do what you did."

As a result of the people's repentance during these services, the Revelation and Power Gifts in particular went into operation. The Pastor's young son was glued to the floor by the Holy Spirit and called to the Ministry.  He said he tried to get up repeatedly but could not do so until he told the Holy Spirit that he would obey Him.  

Tumors, goiters and sicknesses were instantly healed.  One lady who had four goiters hanging on her neck for forty years was instantly healed.  Her husband was there to witness and confirm the miracle. Deafness was healed.  People's finances were supernaturally restored.  Prostitutes were delivered.  Demons were cast out and over 75 people were delivered from the spirit of suicide which had entered them through sin.

Pastors and Preachers all across this land best get themselves to their knees before Holy God immediately.  They must ask Him for the boldness to stand up and make continual calls for repentance, particularly for sexual immorality and strife in their Churches. (2 Corinthians 7:4; Ephesians 3:12; Hebrews 4:16; 10:19; 1 John 4:17) 

The lack of Pastors doing so has driven the Gifts of the Spirit into dormancy and has brought this present judgment to America. 

No doubt, some Pastors are thinking, "I wouldn't know what to preach to get them to repent."  

Just open your Bible to Deuteronomy 6:2 like I saw myself do in the trance and tell them the word "fear" in that verse means "reverence" like I did.  

Tell them fornication, adultery and homosexuality is not showing reverence for God, like I did.  

Tell them that verse also says they could die prematurely if they do not repent, like I did.  

Tell them from 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 and 18 that homosexuals, fornicators and adulterers have no inheritance, like I did.  

Then let God take it from there as I did.  

The Bible says the righteous are as bold as a lion, so stand up like the bold, Born Again, anointed man or woman of God you are and drive those Anointing-killing, Gift-quenching, Nation-trashing spirits of immorality out of the congregation God has placed under your hand. (Proverbs 28:1)

You can take this very same approach concerning abortion and Israel. Present your congregation with Scripture that killing babies in the womb and tampering with Israel is not showing reverence for God. Tell them they could be judged for doing so then ask if anyone wants to repent and let God take it from there. 

The preaching of "faith" is never going to do the job that preaching "repentance" alone is intended to do.  

Wake up, Faith Preachers!  Wake up!  You think you are in faith when you are in presumption.  

Part of God's judgment on Christian America will be the premature death of Ministers who refuse to continually preach the message of repentance. They will be replaced by bold, even younger, less-experienced Ministers, who will preach repentance because they are in tune with what God is saying to horribly backslidden Christian America.  Preachers so young that they have not yet had time to harden their hearts to His voice like many older, prideful, disobedient Preachers have.

To refuse to listen to this admonition as a Preacher of Righteousness and to continue to preach "we can overcome what's going on out there with faith" and to refuse to buckle down and start preaching the message of "repentance" would be a slap in the face of Holy God.  You will see this when you read Chapter Four: Eight Reasons a Loving God Allows Judgment. It would also be an absolute affront to the true message of faith in Him. 

By unction of the Holy Spirit, the Apostle Paul has commanded Preachers of Righteousness to preach the message of repentance first and the message of faith second. 

"Testifying both to the Jews and also to the Greeks, repentance towards God and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ." (Acts 20:21)  

It is just common sense to realize that when the preaching of faith is not working and the Gifts of the Spirit are not in operation as God intends for them to be in New Testament Church services, it is simply time to stop preaching "faith" and go back and start preaching "repentance" to people who are disobeying the Bible.

To preach "faith" to Christians who are doing little or nothing at all about their own unconfessed sins, 56 million convenience abortions, normalizing homosexuality and tampering with Israel's security when the Scripture forbids doing so is absolute presumption on the Minister's part. To preach "faith" before preaching "repentance" is to put the proverbial cart before the horse.  End result? No results!

How unfortunate that so many Ministers and Christians refuse to believe America is presently being judged by its Lawgiver and Judge.  They say, “God will never judge America because America has a Covenant with God, not only through the Bible but through the Mayflower Compact.”  

However, those who believe that way are apparently blinded to the fact that America's present dilemma is not a matter of God having broken Covenant with America.  This present dilemma is a matter of America having broken both Covenant and fellowship with God by not keeping her end of the Bible Covenant or the Mayflower Compact. (Deuteronomy 8:17-20)

Because America has done evil in God's sight, disobeying His voice and breaking her agreement with Him, all the good God intends for America and every benefit is being withdrawn. (Jeremiah 18:9-10)

The bottom line is this.  

When true Preachers of the Gospel begin to preach, en masse, the message of repentance for sin, people will begin to repent, en masse, for their sin.  

When people repent for their sin, judgment will be turned back, the miraculous will begin to occur again within the Churches and America will go immediately into the recovery process in every realm of its existence.

"Use your faith to override what's going on out there" is the wrong message for Pastors and national TV Ministers to be preaching right now, especially to Christians who are living in sin and causing America's present crisis. 

Of course, not all are living in sin but so many are that the cup has overflowed and God is allowing judgment. 

Doesn't it just make sense, Preacher, to preach a message along the lines of what you see God is allowing in our nation?

Doesn't it just make sense, Preacher, to stop preaching about money just to get more money and start preaching repentance in order to turn our country back to the place of true prosperity?

Repentance by faith and a return to the reverence of God is God's present message to backslidden Christian America.

This is what the Holy Spirit has instructed 94-year-old Dr. Billy Graham to tell our nation.

Chapter 3:  Prophets, Israel, America and the Laws of Sowing and Reaping

The Prophet Jeremiah and the Laws of Sowing and Reaping

The Prophet Jeremiah brought forth an astonishing revelation by the Spirit of God concerning the Laws of Sowing and Reaping.  Here is what he said, from the Amplified Bible.

“Your own wickedness shall chasten and correct you, and your backslidings and desertion of faith shall reprove you. Know therefore and recognize that this is an evil and bitter thing: [first,] you have forsaken the Lord your God; [second,] you are indifferent to Me and the fear of Me is not in you, says the Lord of Hosts." (Jeremiah 2:19)

Here the Prophet Jeremiah makes clear reference to the fact that the Laws of Sowing and Reaping will actually correct and reprove men and nations as a direct result of their own wickedness and backslidings. 

We refer to this as "The Steel Punch of the Laws of Sowing and Reaping." 

The more wicked and backslidden individuals and nations become, the more harshly the Laws of Sowing and Reaping will begin to work against them and to stop working for them. 

We say it this way, “When individuals or nations disobey God things stop happening for them and begin to happen to them.  It is man, not God, who causes the Laws of Sowing and Reaping to work against himself.  Only man can reverse that.”

King David and the Laws of Sowing and Reaping

Let’s look at something King David said concerning the Laws of Sowing and Reaping. 

“Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle… Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the Lord, mercy shall compass him about.” (Psalm 32:9-10)

What could be clearer?  King David, speaking by the Spirit of God in reference to the Laws of Sowing and Reaping, clearly stated that the stubbornly disobedient and rebellious shall be consumed with sorrows while the obedient, pliable and correctable shall be literally compassed about with God’s mercy.

The choice is clear.  By their behaviors men and nations choose either the steel punch of the Laws of Sowing and Reaping or the soft pillow of mercy. 

King David also stated that his life was surrounded with God’s loving-kindness because he walked in truth. (Psalm 26:3)  Walking in truth does not mean that one does not make mistakes for David made many.  David’s two greatest mistakes were when he numbered his army after God told him not to do so and when he killed Uriah in order to take his wife. (2 Samuel 24:1-4; 2 Samuel 11:1-27; 12:1-31)  

King David was one of the greatest mistake-makers in human history.  But he knew how to repent when he was wrong.  David knew how the Laws of Sowing and Reaping worked for or against individuals and nations.  When he was wrong he said so.  He asked the Lord to forgive him. He received his forgiveness and moved on in the blessings of the Lord. 

King David made some of the most ridiculous mistakes in the history of humanity, but he had enough sense to bring them before the Lord to receive forgiveness.  

Christian America could learn much from King David.

King Solomon and the Laws of Sowing and Reaping

King David’s son, King Solomon, the wisest man to ever live, next to the Lord Jesus Christ, also referred to the Laws of Sowing and Reaping.  Interestingly, he referred to them as “the reproof of life.” 

“The ear that heareth the reproof of life abideth among the wise.  He that refuseth instruction despiseth his own soul: but he that heareth reproof getteth understanding.” (Proverbs 15:31-32)

King Solomon realized that life has a way of bringing reproof and correction to the disobedient and the wicked, whether they be individuals or nations.  Solomon well knew what Jeremiah was referring to when he said, “Thine own wickedness shall correct thee, and thy backslidings shall reprove thee.”  

King Solomon understood that God had slung the Laws of Sowing and Reaping into operation, allowing men and nations to decide whether those Laws would work for or against them.  This was to encourage man, in his free will, to always choose behaviors which would lead to blessings and to reject behaviors which would lead to curses.

Christian America could learn much from King Solomon.

National Israel and the Laws of Sowing and Reaping

Almighty God put it straight to the nation of Israel, making clear reference to the Laws of Sowing and Reaping when He said the following.

“I call Heaven and Earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: that thou mayest love the Lord thy God, and that thou mayest obey His voice;” (Deuteronomy 30:19-20)

God commands all men and all nations to choose life, not just Israel.  When men and nations choose life by choosing His grace and means of eternal life through Jesus and obedience to His Word, they can cancel the Laws of Sin and Death and operate in what the Apostle Paul called the Law of the Spirit of Life. (Romans 8:2) 

However, individuals and nations must make this choice for themselves because God will not force anyone to surrender to Him or to remain obedient to Him.  Sadly, Christian America has chosen the path of disobedience which leads to heartache, unnecessary suffering, curses and ultimate demise without repentance.

Sadly, Christian America has chosen the steel punch of the Laws of Sowing and Reaping. 

But the good news is if America, which is 85% Christian by most estimates, will repent for her gross national sins of abortion, immorality, homosexuality, rejection of capital punishment when the verdict is beyond reasonable doubt and tampering with Israel’s security, God will see to it that healing, power, protection and prosperity will visit our land once again.  He set up the Laws of Sowing and Reaping to do just that.

Christian America could learn a lot from God's dealings with Israel.

God's Promise to Solomon on Israel’s Behalf

“If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14) 

The Lord appeared to King Solomon in the night and spoke to him concerning the potential for Israel to fall into national sin.  He promised Solomon that if Israel ever did fall into sin as a nation, only to repent, He would immediately see to it that they were restored to a position of power, protection and provision.

Child of God, this principle referred to by God to Solomon is what the Bible calls the Laws of Sowing and Reaping.  It is simple enough for a child to understand. Do right and be blessed. Do wrong and be cursed.  Repent and be restored.  End of story. 

In chapter three we will look at the eight primary reasons for God allowing judgment to come upon individuals or nations when they allow it to come upon themselves.  We must understand when God allows judgment to come upon men or nations, there is always a reason which is known to the individual or the nation. God does not hold us accountable for what we do not know. God is a good God and He never leaves anyone in the dark as to why they are being chastised or judged. 

We always tell people when they are experiencing judgment, “Don’t look for the needle in the haystack as to why this is happening to you.  Look for the elephant in the bread box.  Look for the obvious.  You are either under attack of Satan for your commitment to the Lord, or you are being judged for your lack of commitment to the things of God.  You do know which one it is.” (1 Peter 2:19-20)

God will not allow individuals or nations to be judged through the Laws of Sowing and Reaping without them understanding exactly why it is they are being judged. He will not allow people to go through judgment and not understand what is happening to them.  

But do not be deceived, God is not mocked.  In His love for humanity He will surely allow men and nations to go through judgment in order to hopefully bring them back on track for His blessing.  

As stated previously, God is the Benefactor and Father of all Christians, but He is also their Lawgiver and Judge.

“Behold therefore the goodness and the severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: other-wise thou also shall be cut off.” (Romans 11:22)

Christian America's Gargantuan, Over-the-Top Problem with Abortion

We are writing this from the perspective of Christian Americans concerning our own nation and its gross national crimes against a Holy God. However, you may be reading this from any of the over 140 nations who have visited JohnHamelMinistries.org.  Please understand that any of the principles shared here also apply to you as an individual and to your own nation as well.  We will continue to address what we believe to be the reasons why our country, the United States of America, is presently and severely being judged by the Laws of Sowing and Reaping.  But if the shoe fits for you and your country, Reader, by all means wear it. 

The Laws of Sowing and Reaping apply to all individuals and all nations of the world.

Soon after her establishment in the early 1600’s by Europeans, America began to have a problem with aborting unwanted children sent into the Earth by the Spirit of God. In Early and Colonial America when a woman realized she was pregnant and did not want the hardship, inconvenience or responsibility of carrying, birthing and raising a child, she would drink what was then called “the bitters.”  “The bitters” was a combination of precisely mixed, highly toxic herbs that would simply make the mother very ill but would cause the child to be aborted. 

Since that time it is impossible to know exactly how many children have been murdered by abortion in this nation.  However, Almighty God knows.  He keeps perfect records.  No city or town hall in existence keeps better birth and death records than the Omniscient God.  He is well aware of every child He sent to be birthed in the United States of America whom America sent back to Him with their “It’s my body. It’s my right to reject this life within me” attitude.

Between the time of the taking of “the bitters” in Early America and the landmark 1973 pro-abortion decision by the U.S. Supreme Court referred to as “Roe v. Wade” there is simply no telling how many abortions have been performed in this country.  No doubt, it is well into the tens, if not hundreds, of millions over that 350-year period of American history. 

Since the 1973 “Roe v. Wade” decision there have been over 56,000,000 recorded “legal” abortions performed.  We believe it would be safe to double that number when adding to it the number of “illegal” backroom, self-inflicted and “Morning After Pill” abortions which are still continually performed.  This adds well over 100 million convenience abortions to the untold millions performed for centuries before the Supreme Court’s unwise decision.

The ungodly 1973 Supreme Court decision, based on the due process clause of the 14^th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, “entitles” individual women to free-will abortions according to the woman’s “right to privacy.”  Some have rightly referred to this as “playing God.”   

The Supreme Court’s 7-to-2 ruling is much more complex than what we just described.  One may argue to what extent abortion should be legal, who should decide the legality of abortion, what methods the Supreme Court should use in Constitutional adjudication and what the role should be of religious and moral views in the political arena. 

But the simple bottom line is this.  Since 1973 ninety-eight percent of all abortions performed on American women are performed for convenience only, not because of a threat to life.  They occur simply because the little family member sent into the Earth by a Holy God is unwanted and therefore swiftly and “legally” executed. 

Shockingly, sixty-eight percent of those abortions are performed on Christian women who profess faith in Jesus Christ as their Savior and a belief in the Bible. 

According to the Laws of Sowing and Reaping, this is not only bad for the individuals who conveniently "discard" the children to whom God gave life, but it is also bad for those who support or facilitate them in this type of legalized murder.  It is also very destructive to the nation that idly sits back condoning it, believing the lie that if God has not judged it by now He is never going to do so.

Anyone who thinks America being presently stripped of wealth and sovereignty by an Islamic President, who lies and calls himself a Christian, is unrelated to hundreds of millions of abortions is simply living in the Land of Make Believe.  

That individual is very apparently not studying the Scriptures, particularly where God addressed Moses concerning the sin of baby-killing. A sin called "Molochism." 

A sin which God says profanes His Holy Name.  

A sin God promised would cause Him to "set My face against that man."

Abortion Is America's Modern-Day "Molochism"

In the Old Testament the Canaanites and the Amorites sacrificed their children by fire to an idol named Moloch (Molech), also known as Tophet. The name means "King." (2 Chronicles 28:3, 33; Jeremiah 7:31; 19:2-6) 

Many apostate Israelites became involved in Molochism and Holy God sternly addressed Moses concerning it.

"And the Lord spake unto Moses saying, Again thou shalt say to the children of Israel, Whosoever he be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel, that giveth any of his seed unto Molech; he shall surely be put to death: the people of the land shall stone him with stones. And I will set My face against that man, and will cut him off from among his people; because he hath given of his seed unto Molech, to defile My sanctuary and to profane My Holy Name." (Leviticus 20:1-3)

What could be clearer? God told Moses that anyone in Israel who sacrificed a child to Moloch would be cut off from Holy God for defiling His sanctuary and profaning His Holy Name. 

God actually said, "I will set My face against that man."  

Rabbi Shlomo Yitzhaki, a 12th Century French Jewish Rabbi, is generally known by the acronym "Rashi."  "Ra" is from Rabbi.  "Sh" is from Shlomo.  "I" is from Yitzhaki.  To this day Rashi is still acclaimed and highly esteemed by both learned scholars and Rabbis, as well as beginning students. His works remain the very centerpiece of all contemporary Jewish study. He is considered to be the expert on the Talmud and the Tanakh - the Hebrew Bible. 

One of Rashi's comments on Molochism is as follows.

"Moloch was made of brass; and they heated him from his lower parts; and his hands being stretch out, and made hot, they put the child between his hands, and it was burnt; when it vehemently cried out; but the priests beat a drum, that the father might not hear the voice of his son, and his heart might not be moved."

Other Hebrew scholars teach that the brass idol, Moloch, was heated until he was fiery red as an incinerator at which time the infant children would be thrown into him. At that point the idol priests would begin furiously beating their drums loudly to drown out the screams of the innocent dying victims.

Christian America is guilty of 21st Century Molochism. She throws her innocent unborn children into the flaming red incinerator of an idol called "Convenience." The liberal politicians of her land loudly and furiously beat the drum of the 14th Amendment's "Right to Privacy" clause to quiet the screaming voice of America's conscience. 

All the while Christian America wonders why God no longer imparts His Blessing to her.

God not only told Moses that He would set His face against the individuals and the nation who sacrificed their children.  He also told them He would set His face against those who turned a blind eye to the evil practice.  Contrary to what some believe, there is absolutely no neutral ground in this matter.  

"And if the people of the land do any ways, hide their eyes from the man, when he giveth of his seed unto Molech, and kill him not; then I will set My face against that man, and against his family, and will cut him off..." (Leviticus 20:5)

Here, God made it clear to Moses that individuals who looked the other way concerning the murder of innocent children, even though they did not do the killing, would be just as guilty as those who did the killing. 

He promised to set His face against them, against their families and to cut them off from His Covenant of Provision and Protection. 

Modern-day Molochism in America is one of the biggest reasons God has turned His face from us and why we have found ourselves cut off from the provision and protection we had grown so accustomed to. 

Those who legislate abortion, perform abortions, provide abortions, have abortions, condone abortions, turn a blind eye to abortions or punish those who withstand the sin of abortion are all equally guilty in God's eyes. 

In the Dispensation of Grace in which we live, the death by stoning of proponents of Molochism is no longer practiced.  However, until Christian America gets up off her murderous backside, demanding the overthrow of the King called "legalized abortion," she will remain in her downward spiral. She will continue to experience, individually and nationally, the continual, progressive loss of God's provision and protection.  

Even as He promised Moses, Holy God has turned His face away from Christian America and has all but cut her off because of her gargantuan unrepented of problem with modern-day Molochism.

Some of Christian America's Additional Crimes Against Holy God

Christian America is presently experiencing an epidemic of sexual sin previously unknown in her Churches.  

One of the largest and fastest growing segments of American society is unwed mothers, including Christian mothers. 

Fornication, adultery and homosexuality are rampant amongst those who claim Christ as their Savior. 

The number of Christians who attend Church and live together outside the Holy Covenant of Marriage is appalling. (Hebrews 13:4) When Ministers confront it, they are almost guaranteed aggressive resistance by those who demand relationship with Christ on their own terms. As Ministers of the Gospel we have had to stand our ground here more times than we care to remember. 

The divorce rate amongst Christians is as high as the divorce rate in the world.  At least fifty percent of all Christian marriages end in divorce. But what can be expected from married Christians who are not taught by their Pastors to show commitment and respect to their Covenant with God?  How can they be expected to show commitment and respect to their Covenant with one another? 

Many Christian parents refuse to discipline their children according to the written Word of God. (Proverbs 13:24; 19:18; 22:15; 23:13; 29:15,17) Rather, far too many choose to sedate their children with medication like worldly parents do.  

In the vast majority of cases where Christian parents have come to us concerning out-of-control children, they have no idea in the world what the Bible says about their need to discipline their children. Many times when pointing out what the Bible says, we have been told, "I am simply not going to do that." When told, "God says you must," they immediately respond, "I don't care. I won't do that." That is rebellion and lawlessness. 

Like their counterparts in the world, far too many Christian parents are all hung up on, "We need to leave a better planet for our children" while ignoring the Bible admonition to leave better children for the planet. 

In far too many cases timid Pastors, afraid of losing financial and material support, turn a blind eye both to the familial rebellion and to the sexual sin festering in their congregations.  One Pastor for whom we preached actually told us, “It’s not my business to correct anybody for anything.”  Obviously he has never read or simply chooses to ignore the Apostle Paul’s Pastoral Epistles, particularly his admonition to Pastors concerning Church oversight.

“Herald and preach the Word! Keep your sense of urgency [stand by, be at hand and ready], whether the opportunity seems to be favorable or unfavorable. [Whether it is convenient or inconvenient, whether it is welcome or unwelcome, you as Preacher of the Word are to show people in what way their lives are wrong.] And convince them, rebuking and correcting, warning and urging and encouraging them, being unflagging and inexhaustible in patience and teaching.” (2 Timothy 4:2, Amplified Bible)

Many Christian organizations and denominations not only openly embrace homosexuality in the spirit of “Christian love” but are now ordaining homosexuals and lesbians to “Christian” ministry. Many Christian Pastors actually officiate over homosexual marriage ceremonies.  

One extremely popular Christian Pastor and author recently said on Larry King Live that he and his wife would have no problem whatsoever attending a friend's homosexual marriage ceremony if invited. This is an affront to Holy God, not only to His forbidding homosexuality but also to His forbidding the condoning of homosexuality. (Romans 8:1-32; 1 Corinthians 5:1 thru 2 Corinthians 6:10)

As stated previously, for the most part Christian America rejects capital punishment when someone is guilty of taking the life of another and there is no reasonable doubt of them having done so. (Genesis 9:6) They reject capital punishment as God’s way of subduing murderous criminals and encouraging others to not commit murder.

Christians picket God-ordained, Biblical and Constitutionally-legal executions, holding up signs based on Exodus 20, verse 13, “Thou shalt not kill” not even realizing that verse of Scripture actually says, “Thou shalt not take a life in an unjustifiable manner.” The number of Christians who know little or nothing about their Bibles is shocking. This is why God said, “My people perish for lack of knowledge.” (Hosea 4:6)

If God says that executing a murderer is justifiable, then it is justifiable. He is God.  He alone gets to make the rules.   

This is what Solomon was referring to when speaking by inspiration of the Holy Spirit he said, “There is a time to kill.” (Ecclesiastes 3:3) King Solomon was not only referring to execution of murderous individuals, he was also referring to God-ordained defensive warfare when he said that.

Christian America defiantly tampers with Israel’s security when God promised destruction to any who were foolish enough to do so. 

Recently Barack Obama, America’s most anti-Christian, anti-Israel President ever, promised Muslim Brotherhood strongman, Egyptian Dictator Mohammed Morsi the delivery of twenty of America’s most high-tech fighter aircraft, as well as 200 of our most advanced tanks. The Muslim Brotherhood and President Morsi are amongst Israel’s greatest enemies and they are committed to wiping Israel off the face of the Earth. 

A staunch Obama supporter recently told me, “Pastor, you’re as crazy as an (outhouse) rat for even thinking Egypt would use those jets and tanks against Israel.” 

Someone is crazy.  But it isn’t me.  America will pay when that high-tech weaponry is used against Israel if the God of Israel even allows it to be delivered.

God told Abraham, concerning Abraham’s offspring, Israel, “I will bless them that bless thee and curse them that curse thee.” (Genesis 12:3)

King David knew the importance of the nations of the world blessing and not cursing Israel.  He said, “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem (Israel): they shall prosper that love thee.” (Psalm 122:6)

The reverse application of this Scripture should be apparent to even the most hardened of hearts.  Any nation that lifts its hand against Israel shall cease to prosper.  As a matter of fact, every civilization or world power that has ever lifted their hand against God’s Israel is no longer a civilization or world power from as far back as Pharaoh’s Egypt to present day England and every world power in-between. 

America will be no exception to this time-tested rule of the steel punch of the Laws of Sowing and Reaping.

The Lord said through the Prophet Jeremiah, “Thus saith the Lord against all mine evil neighbors, that touch the inheritance which I have caused My people Israel to inherit … I will pluck them out of their land … if they will not obey, I will utterly pluck up and destroy that nation…” (Jeremiah 12:14-17)

The Lord also said through the Prophet Zechariah, “All that burden themselves with it (Jerusalem / Israel) shall be cut in pieces …” (Zechariah 12:3)

Teddy Kollek was a five-term Mayor of Jerusalem from 1965-1993. During his tenure he turned Jerusalem into a modern city and is sometimes called "the greatest builder of Jerusalem since Herod."  He once accurately stated, "Jerusalem is a golden bowl filled with vipers. He who puts his hand in it shall die."

Once again, America will be no exception to God's rule of the house concerning Israel and Jerusalem.  That rule is "Hands off Israel and Jerusalem, or judgment is on!"

But the good news is if Christian America will repent for her gross national sins of abortion, fornication, adultery and homosexuality within the Church, rejection of capital punishment when the verdict is beyond reasonable doubt and defiantly tampering with Israel’s security, God will see to it that healing, power, protection and prosperity will visit our land once again. 

He set up the Laws of Sowing and Reaping to do just that.  

America's destiny is not up to God. Christian America's destiny is up to Christian America.

The totality of America’s gross national sins is too great to mention.  But we have listed the primary ones which have caused the Laws of Sowing and Reaping to begin the process of stripping away America’s power, provision and protection. 

The gross national sins listed above are a good place to start the repentance process but a bad place to stop. 

Christian America must wholeheartedly repent before Holy God in order to avoid further, more severe national judgment through the steel punch of the Laws of Sowing and Reaping.

Chapter 4:  Eight Reasons a Loving God Allows Judgment  

We must always remember that God is a good God, a loving God and He only allows drastic measures as a last resort.  The Laws of Sowing and Reaping are set up to accommodate this. 

When all other methods of getting men to obey God have been exhausted, the steel punch of the Laws of Sowing and Reaping will bring about such severe consequences that only those not in their right minds, such as King Nebuchadnezzar, will refuse to repent. (Daniel 4:1-37)  

As was the case with Pharaoh, Egypt and Moses, God will attempt to reason with sinful humanity for a long period of time before allowing judgment to proceed. But He did say, "My Spirit shall not always strive with man." (Genesis 6:3; 7:1 thru 14:24)  By this He meant that He does indeed have boundaries and it is unwise for man to attempt to find them.

Sadly, because of God’s long-suffering and patience, many individuals and nations misinterpret much time given to repent as an unwillingness on God’s part to allow them to be judged by the Laws of Sowing and Reaping.

This is the position in which Christian America finds herself today.  Individually and nationally Christian America refuses to listen to the whole counsel of God’s Word. 

A vast majority of Christian America refuses to listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit.

A vast majority of Christian America refuses to listen to her bold Pastors and Ministers who sound the alarm to repentance.

A vast majority of Christian America has refused to listen to her God-ordained Prophets, her Watchmen on the wall, who cry, “There is trouble on the horizon. Unnecessary suffering approaches.  Judgment is nigh at hand.  Repent.” 

Therefore, according to the Laws of Sowing and Reaping, Christian America continues to sink deeper and deeper into the quicksand of sin and her only hope of rescue is in wholehearted repentance.

Fast & Pray or Eat & Repent?

Some across the land are shouting, “Let’s fast and pray that God would restore us.”  However, there is nothing in the Bible about fasting for God to restore a nation which is drowning in sin and refusing to repent.

God did not tell Jonah to go to Ninevah with the message of fasting. God sent Jonah to Ninevah with the message of repentance for wickedness.  Although once Ninevah received the message of repentance they did fast with sackcloth and ashes, Jonah never once told the people of Ninevah that they were to fast. Ninevah fasted only after they repented, as a sign of their repentance. (Jonah 1:1 thru 4:11) 

In the New Testament the Apostle Paul fasted for only three reasons - to increase his anointing, to sensitize his spirit to the voice of God and during times of extreme personal crisis and danger. None of these has an immediate connection with national repentance because of sin.

People have a tendency to fast because they think it will change God when in fact, fasting does not move God. Fasting changes and benefits the individual who is fasting.

We are not saying God might not tell someone to fast during a national crisis. Everyone must be led by the Holy Spirit within as to whether they should fast or not. (Romans 8:14, 16; 9:1, etc.) But there is no instruction in the New Testament for a nation to fast in lieu of repentance.  That is the idea of well-meaning, religious-minded Christians.  However, as well-meaning as they may be, fasting will do nothing to turn back the judgment of God. 

Only repentance will turn back the judgment of God.

Someone else might say, “When the Amorites, the Moabites and the children of Seir came against Israel, Jehoshaphat called a fast.” (2 Chronicles 20:4)  

Yes, he did indeed, but it was not to persuade God to pull Israel out of a quagmire of gross national sin.  They fasted because they desperately needed guidance from God as to how to withstand the approaching confederation of armies.  As a result, God spoke to them through the Prophet Jahaziel and a supernatural Word of Wisdom revealing where the attacking forces were hiding out in a staging area.

The next day Israel showed up at that staging area, began praising and worshipping God in the beauty of His Holiness, and the confederation of armies actually began fighting amongst themselves and destroying one another.  

All of Israel stood and watched in amazement as every one of their enemies literally killed one another.  When the last dead body fell to the ground, Jehoshaphat and Israel spent the next three days gathering up the armament, weaponry, riches and precious jewels left behind by their enemies. (2 Chronicles 20:1-25) 

This Bible narrative has nothing to do with Israel fasting for God to deliver them from gross national sins.  

This Bible narrative has to do with the children of Israel fasting in order to hear from God, like Paul fasted to hear from God.  

Christian America does not need to fast in order to hear from God to know what to do about her present crisis. God has already spoken in the Bible about what to do in the midst of a crisis which has been brought about by gross national sins. Let's look at it again.

"If that nation against whom I have pronounced (judgment) turn from their evil, (repent), I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them." (Jeremiah 18:8)

This is so simple even a child can understand it.

This is why we say, “Forget about fasting for the moment.  Let’s eat and simply repent for our gross national sins. Then God’s Laws of Sowing and Reaping will begin the process of automatically restoring us.”

There’s no need to stop eating, Christian America. 

There is only a need to stop sinning, particularly in the areas mentioned in this book.

When Christian America repents and asks forgiveness, Holy God will rescue her from the quicksand of judgment. 

No matter who teaches otherwise, the Bible does not say, “If My people which are called by My Name shall humble themselves and FAST and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from Heaven.”

Fasting is not even mentioned here in 2 Chronicles 7:14.  The religious human mind puts that in there. 

When the Lord appeared to Solomon in this chapter of Second Chronicles, He told him that humility, prayer, seeking God’s face and turning from wickedness (repentance) would open the door for the Lord to heal a sin-crippled nation.

No mention of fasting whatsoever. 

When the Lord said to Solomon, “…turn from their wicked ways…” He was specifically referring to the act of repentance for sin.  That is what “repentance” means.  It means “to turn around and go in the opposite direction” from wickedness. 

We believe fasting has its proper place, but our suggestion to backslidden Christian America at this time is, “Do not stop eating, Christian America.  Keep it simple like God keeps it simple.  Stop sinning.” 

Otherwise, the judgment that has come to America because of gross national sin will quickly compound to the degree that you will wish you had stopped sinning.

Recently a Minister of the Gospel posted on his Internet Blog that it was “nonsense” to believe that Barack Obama stripping America of wealth and sovereignty in pursuit of Islamic World Domination is God’s allowed judgment on a sin-sick, defiant nation. Apparently he never read what the Bible teaches about “the stranger within” who would come and strip any nation of wealth and sovereignty who defied Holy God. (Deuteronomy 28:43-47)

Apparently he is down on the judgment of God because he is not up on the Laws of Sowing and Reaping. 

This is why the Bible says, “My people perish for a lack of knowledge.” (Hosea 4:6)   

This is why the Bible commands Ministers, “Study to shew yourself approved of God.” (2 Timothy 2:15) 

When one simply does not know what the Word of God says about America’s present sin-crippled condition, it would be best for them to say nothing at all as opposed to presenting make-believe, nonsensical doctrine.

Let’s go to the Bible and see exactly when the Laws of Sowing and Reaping will indeed cause judgment to come upon individuals and nations.

1. When Stubbornness and Rebellion Prevail

“And if ye shall despise My statutes, or if your soul abhor My judgments, so that ye will not do all My commandments, but that ye break My covenant: I also will do (Hebrew: “allow”) this unto you; I will even appoint (allow) over you terror(ism), consumption, and the burning ague, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it…” (Leviticus 26:15-16)

There is no need to read any further into this chapter in Leviticus to understand what it is saying.  If you were to read further, you would discover what it describes as consequences for rebellion is not good at all.  We are confident you get the picture from what you just read in these two verses.  Should you choose to read further in Leviticus chapter 26, you will discover how stubbornness and rebellion brings tremendous curses to both individuals and entire nations, including terrorism. 

Why not repent now, Christian America, for forgetting from where your power, provision and protection once came?  By refusing to do so, Holy God, as a last resort, will allow the steel punch of the Laws of Sowing and Reaping to continue to work against you in such a way that you will ultimately wish you had repented.

“But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is He that giveth thee power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day. And it shall be, if thou do at all forget the Lord thy God, and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I testify against you this day that ye shall surely perish. As the nations which the Lord destroyeth before your face, so shall ye perish; because ye would not be obedient unto the voice of the Lord your God.” (Deuteronomy 8:18-20)

Here the Prophet Moses makes it perfectly clear that individuals and nations who forget God will deeply regret having done so. Moses actually said that a nation who forgets God could actually "perish."  It is clear that Christian America is in the advanced stages of perishing over her sins.

The Lord also told Jeremiah that He would withdraw all good and every benefit from any nation who ignored His voice and did evil.

"And at what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it; If it do evil in My sight, that it obey not My voice, then I will repent of the good wherewith I said I would benefit them." (Jeremiah 18:9-10)

Clearly we see the Lord's prophecy to Jeremiah coming to pass in the United States of America for doing evil in His sight and not obeying His voice. The Laws of Sowing and Reaping will automatically turn back this present judgment as soon as Christian America shows sincere signs of repentance.

“Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out My hand, and no man regarded; But ye have set at nought all My counsel, and would none of My reproof:” (Proverbs 1:24-25)

There are three primary reasons in the Bible for God “stretching forth” His hand or His arm.

One is for judgment such as when He stretched forth His arm and judged Egypt concerning Israel. (Deuteronomy 5:15) 

He also stretches forth His hand in Scripture to call individuals or nations to Himself, such as we read above in Proverbs chapter one.

He also stretches forth His hand to perform signs, wonders and miracles. (Acts 4:30-5:12)

God still stretches forth His hand today to judge, to call men and nations to Himself, as well as to perform signs, wonders and miracles. 

“For I am the Lord, I change not." (Malachi 3:6)

"Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today and forever.” (Hebrews 13:8)

2. When People Deliberately Sin and Refuse to Repent

“And when thy days be fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed after thee, which shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom. He shall build an house for My name, and I will stablish the throne of his kingdom for ever. I will be his father, and he shall be My son. If he commit iniquity, I will chasten (judge) him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men: But My mercy shall not depart away from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I put away before thee.” (2 Samuel 7:12-15)

Here God is explaining to King David that it will be David’s son, Solomon, who would build a Temple for Him, not King David.  He promised David that He would personally look after Solomon and be a Father to him as long as Solomon was obedient.  However, if Solomon chose deliberate sin, refusing to repent, God also promised David that He would allow Solomon to be judged “with the rod of men and with the stripes of the children of men.”

Holy God is assuring King David that He will use individuals, and even other nations if necessary, to judge Solomon should he deliberately sin and refuse to repent.  This is the condition Christian America is in today.  She has deliberately sinned gross national sins and in her pride refuses to repent.  As a result, God is using the “rod of men and the stripes of the children of men” in the form of an Islamic President and his "Brotherhood" of Muslims to bring about judgment through the steel punch of the Laws of Sowing and Reaping. 

Should Christian America refuse to repent in response to this present judgment, it is highly possible that America will be overtaken by the Muslim nation’s dream of Islamic World Domination.

3.  When People Absolutely Refuse to Listen to God

“For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed; Then He openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction, that He may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man. He keepeth back his soul from the pit, and his life from perishing by the sword.” (Job 33:14-18)

God speaks to men and nations through His written and spoken/preached Word. (Matthew 28:19-20)  When they ignore His Word, He continues to speak through the voice of conscience. (Romans 1:19; 2:14-15; 9:1) 

When men do not listen to His Word or their conscience, God can also speak through dreams, visions, angelic visitations, prophecy, etc. 

If men and nations continue to refuse to listen to these many ways through which God speaks, He can and most definitely will speak to them in the form of direct judgment.  He has set up the Laws of Sowing and Reaping in such a way that judgment is a last resort to save lives.  However, reader beware. He will indeed resort to it. We just read in Job chapter 33 that He does it to save men from needlessly perishing. Isaiah also said He does it to teach men righteousness in order that their lives may be prolonged. (Isaiah 26:9)

In over thirty years of Christianity God has led me, Pastor John Hamel, to address thirty-eight individuals, informing them they were going to be judged, either through some sort of avoidable tragedy or unnecessary premature death, unless they judged themselves and repented for blatant or secret sin. 

"For this cause many are weak and sickly among you and many have died. For if we would judge ourselves, we should not have to be judged.  But when we are judged we are chastened of the Lord." (1 Corinthians 11:30-31)

To date, eleven of the thirty-eight have died prematurely and needlessly, many of them within an exact time-frame God gave me for them, because they would not judge themselves and repent. 

Thirteen have suffered unnecessary, heartbreaking tragedy, in some cases even their children dying, because they would not listen and judge themselves.

Only three of the individuals have had the humility, good sense and spiritual sensibility to judge themselves and repent for what they knew they were doing wrong. 

Eleven of the thirty-eight individuals are still pending. 

Seven of those are Pentecostal, Full Gospel or Word of Faith Ministers. 

Based upon the supernatural accuracy of all the other words of avoidable judgment, they, too, will suffer unnecessary, avoidable judgment unless they judge themselves and repent.

God told King Hezekiah through the Prophet Isaiah that he was going to die for his disobedience to the Almighty.  As a result, Hezekiah wept sore before the Lord and wholeheartedly repented.  God then told the Prophet Isaiah, “Go back and tell Hezekiah that I have seen his tears of repentance and I am now adding fifteen additional years to his life.” (Isaiah 38:1-6)

This narrative from Scripture reveals that all prophecies of judgment are conditional and can be changed through repentance.  By the way, you will notice by reading this passage that Hezekiah did not bother to fast. He just wept and repented immediately. 

God gives words such as these out of His goodness, not His wrath.  The Gifts of the Spirit are intended for positive, not negative use.  They are intended to pull man up out of his costly rut, not to put man down even deeper. (1 Corinthians 14:3) 

What could be more positive and uplifting than God sending His messenger to graciously and lovingly warn someone, “You are soon to be judged by the steel punch of the Laws of Sowing and Reaping in the form of a great tragedy or even your own early death.  However, the Lord says to tell you that you can turn it back and avoid it, if only you will judge yourself and repent.”? 

How our hearts have broken time and time again to watch as the stubborn and rebellious, in their pride, refuse to receive the word of the Lord and suffer so unnecessarily.  

Our Pastor, Dr. Lester Sumrall once said, "It is amazing to me what some people will allow themselves and others to go through just to avoid five minutes of soul-cleansing shame."

“Correction is grievous unto him that forsaketh the way: and he that hateth reproof shall die.” (Proverbs 15:10)

Stubbornness, pride and refusing to listen to God do not show up on an autopsy report.

4. When People Deliberately Provoke God

“A Psalm of David, to bring to remembrance. O Lord, rebuke me not in Thy wrath: neither chasten (judge) me in Thy hot displeasure.” (Psalm 38:1)

This Psalm was written by David in reference to his sin of murder and adultery with Uriah’s wife, Bathsheba.

Uriah was one of King David’s most trusted friends and military leaders.  David found Uriah’s wife to be quite attractive, deciding to have her at any cost, including committing adultery with her. David then conspired with other of his military leaders and deliberately had Uriah sent into the heat of battle where he knew Uriah would be readily killed. Once Uriah was dead and out of the equation, King David took Uriah’s wife as his own.

David knew he had provoked God by committing adultery with his devoted friend’s wife, having him killed and then marrying her.  This is why he pleaded with God to not judge him for what he had done.  David not only knew he deserved to be judged, but he also knew he had set the Laws of Sowing and Reaping into operation against himself.  As a result, the child he bore with Bathsheba died soon after birth in spite of David's extensive prayer and fasting. (2 Samuel 11:1-27; 12:1-24)

It is always unwise for men and nations to deliberately provoke God. 

We provoke God when He has given us dominion over sin and pride, yet we still refuse to change. (Romans 6:14)

5. When People Deliberately Forsake God

“If his children forsake My law, and walk not in my judgments; If they break My statutes, and keep not My commandments; Then will I visit their transgression with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes.” (Psalm 89:30-32)

When men or nations turn their back on human conscience and/or God’s written Word, refusing to walk upright morally, He will ultimately resort to the use of the rod and stripes.  This is another clear Biblical reference to severe judgment as a last resort through the steel punch of the Laws of Sowing and Reaping.

Almighty God will resort to what Solomon referred to as “the reproof of life” when men or nations fall so low that it is the only thing that will produce results.  When this occurs in the lives of men or nations, it is never pleasant.  

Everything begins to come apart at the seams.  

This is the point where everything stops happening for men and nations and things start happening to men and nations.  

Only the completely foolish, hard-hearted, super prideful or demon-oppressed would dare push God this far. 

Be forewarned, Holy God can surely be provoked when men and nations deliberately forsake Him by forsaking conscience and/or His Word.

“The ear that heareth the reproof of life abideth among the wise.” (Proverbs 15:31)

6. When People Stubbornly Refuse to Judge Themselves

“For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. But when we are judged, we are chastened (judged) of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.” (1 Corinthians 11:30-32)

When men and nations, Born Again Christians in particular, enter into deliberate sin and disobedience to God’s moral code, refusing to judge themselves, God will absolutely allow the Laws of Sowing and Reaping to judge those men and nations.  He will allow judgment to come because they allow judgment to come by refusing to judge themselves in their sin.

In this verse the Apostle Paul makes it unquestionably clear that Christians who refuse to judge themselves when they are in sin become weak, sickly and in many cases they die (sleep) prematurely. This could not possibly be clearer.  Christians in sin who refuse to judge themselves will face judgment in one way or another.  

Someone once smugly told Pastor John, "God loves me just like I am."  He responded, "Yes, indeed, God loves you just as you are. But He loves you so much He will not leave you like you are.  He's calling you to come up higher." 

God simply loves us too much to leave us in our sin.

Before traveling on to Heaven, Dr. Kenneth E. Hagin said, “There is nothing more lacking in the Charismatic Movement today than commitment, consecration and respect for the things of God.”

How true we have found this to be after nearly twenty-five years of Ministry together. In spite of the number of times I, John Hamel, have been commanded by Almighty God to bring a word of reproof, correction, warning or judgment to a Believer, I am still appalled by the number of Christians who, though called out supernaturally in their sin, absolutely refuse to repent. 

However, when men and nations judge themselves and repent for personal and national sins, such as Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni did in November 2012, God will indeed forgive and allow the process of restoration to begin.

7. When People Sow to the Flesh

“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.” (Galatians 6:7-8)

The Laws of Sowing and Reaping are unchanging, unfailing spiritual laws.

In nature everything reproduces after its own kind. Harvests are as sure as sowings.

The same is true in the realm of the spirit.  Men and nations will reap what they sow and, therefore, are responsible for their own destinies.  

When seeds of sin, compromise and corruption are planted, the Law of Sin and Death will go into operation against the sower.

When seeds of obedience, faithfulness and righteousness are planted, the Law of the Spirit of Life will go into operation on behalf of the sower.

Sin will reap the whirlwind and righteousness will reap the blessing.  

Whatever the sower allows and harvests, God will allow - good or bad.  Therefore, it is always best to plant seeds of obedience, faithfulness, morality and righteousness. 

Whenever the sower plants seeds of disobedience, faithlessness, immorality and unrighteousness, the sower is guaranteed to not like the harvest he is guaranteed to bring in.

By the way, every farmer knows his harvest is always tremendously greater than the amount of seed sown.

God will never allow Himself to be mocked when it comes to the Laws of Sowing and Reaping. No individual or nation will ever find themselves to be the exception to this unyielding rule of God’s House. 

The sower is guaranteed to not only reap what they have sown, but they are guaranteed a supernatural compounding of what they have sown. 

Some people, through the small channel of human reason and the huge channel of human pride, think otherwise. But the Bible assures us, when one lives carnal, disobedient lives of contempt and disrespect for the things of God, payday always comes on an individual or a national level.

It might not come every week – but payday always comes.

8. When People Are Deeply Loved of God

“As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten (judge): be zealous therefore, and repent.” (Revelation 3:19)

We stated through our opening texts and comments, at the beginning of this book and throughout, that God only allows individuals and nations to be judged through the Laws of Sowing and Reaping when nothing else is working.  He does this out of His deep love and concern for all of humanity, not His wrath as some wrongfully teach. 

Sadly, some individuals and nations wrongly interpret God giving them much time given to repent as an unwillingness on His part to allow them to be judged. These individuals and nations are always proven wrong.

Our loving God is willing to judge but not to punish.  Punishment is rooted in anger.  Our Father God judges to discipline.  Discipline is rooted in love.  

Let’s read three verses from the Book of Proverbs that further confirm that God judges, not to punish, but to discipline us for the express purpose of turning us back towards the blessing.

“Turn you at My reproof: behold, I will pour out My Spirit unto you, I will make known My words unto you.” (Proverbs 1:23)

How merciful of a loving God to set up the Laws of Sowing and Reaping to begin to work for us once again the very moment we humbly receive His correction.

“Poverty and shame shall be to him that refuseth instruction: but he that regardeth reproof shall be honored.” (Proverbs 13:18)

Here again, a clear reference to the Laws of Sowing and Reaping bringing poverty and shame to the stubborn, but bringing honor to the humbly penitent.

“A reproof entereth more into a wise man than an hundred stripes into a fool.” (Proverbs 17:10)

When God allows individuals and nations to be corrected by the steel punch of the Laws of Sowing and Reaping, the wise ones repent.  They, in turn, are restored to positions of dignity, honor, power, protection and prosperity.  The ones who will not repent walk headlong into needless suffering. 

In recent decades there has been great emphasis on the message of the unfailing laws of personal faith and financial prosperity as promised by the God of Love. 

Unfortunately, in far too many cases, this emphasis on God as our Loving Benefactor has been at the expense of the Biblical revelation that God is also our Lawgiver and Judge. (Isaiah 33:22; James 4:12)  

Many from within the “faith and prosperity camp” are not only unknowledgeable concerning the Doctrine of Judgment, but they are also quite adverse to it.  To many of them “it doesn’t fit with faith.”  They throw the band-aid of “God’s not out to get anybody” or “It’s all under the Blood” on all un-repented of sin.  They then continue to make all the right faith confessions for prosperity, in spite of the fact God may be trying to tell them, “Repent. The bridge is out just ahead of you.” 

We have witnessed many run headlong into tragedy by making this grave "faith" mistake. 

It can be very dangerous indeed to become a “one topic” Christian or Minister, such as "a faith person" or "a prosperity person." It is the whole counsel of God’s Word that keeps one traveling down the middle of the road and out of the ditches to either side.  

Believe it or not, the Most High God will judge men and nations when they stubbornly rebel against Him, whether they are "a faith person," or "a prosperity person," or whatever type of Christian they consider themselves to be. 

No one who sins escapes the steel punch of the Laws of Sowing and Reaping.  

God will judge men and nations when they deliberately sin, refusing to listen and deliberately provoking Him.  

God will allow judgment through the Laws of Sowing and Reaping for all who forsake Him, refusing to judge themselves in their sin and continuing to sow to their flesh.  

This is what the Bible teaches.   

Holy God allows judgment to come through the Laws of Sowing and Reaping for one reason and one reason alone.  He allows it because He loves the apex of His creative works - humanity, and He desires that they be blessed and not cursed. He desires that they live long and strong, not die sick and weakly.

Christian America has rebelled against Holy God in all of the ways stated in this book and more for multiplied decades. 

America is raging out of control morally and has been deserving of judgment for a long time coming. 

God has been merciful and longsuffering beyond all this country could have hoped for. 

However, Christian America is now being called to task over her rebellion as she finds herself bound in a prison of Islamic aggression and infiltration, while being stripped of great wealth and world power.

In the Bible, Samson's out-of-control immorality bound him to his enemies as well, stripping him of his God-given wisdom and power. 

"The Philistines took Samson, put out his eyes, bound him with fetters of brass and he did grind in the prison house." (Judges 16:21)

Christian America must learn from Samson. Sin blinds. Sin binds. Sin grinds.  

For the most part, lazy, lethargic, prideful Christian Americans continue to refuse to repent of their backsliding. 

Most Christian Americans wake up daily and look at the sinful, deceived condition of themselves and their country, hit the snooze button, roll over, pull the sheet up over their heads and go right on sleeping.

Dr. Billy Graham recently stated in a letter to Christian America, "Self-centered indulgence, pride and a lack of shame over sin are now emblems of the American lifestyle. My heart aches for America and its deceived people."

Dr. Graham's wife, Ruth, once said to him, "Billy, I  am concerned that if God doesn't (judge) America for her sins, He is going to owe Sodom and Gomorrah an apology."

The Most High God will apologize to no one. 

Therefore, as a result of God's deep love for Christian America and through the Laws of Sowing and Reaping as a last resort, America is now experiencing the judgment Dr. Graham and his wife referred to.

Chapter 5:  It Wasn't Too Late for Ninevah. It's Not Too Late for America!

“For people who hate discipline and only get more stubborn, there’ll come a day when life tumbles in and they break, but by then it will be too late to help them.” (Proverbs 29:1, Message Bible)  

We do not yet believe it is too late for Almighty God to help Christian America.  We believe through repentance, beginning in the House of God, America’s present judgment can be turned into America’s blessing. (1 Peter 4:17) 

But it is going to take obedience. It is going to take repentance.

"Repent" is a little word that packs a powerful punch when put into action.

In Jonah's day Ninevah was the superpower of the world. It was the capital of the Assyrian Empire and a center of great power and influence. It was so large it took three days to walk completely around it, even when nipping along smartly! 

Ninevah was also a city filled with evil, political corruption, immorality, crime and violence. It was not safe to live in Ninevah. 

The Assyrians populating Ninevah hated Israel with a passion and the nation of Israel had no love lost for the Assyrians.  

For Jonah to go into Ninevah and preach the message "Repent or you'll be overthrown in forty days!" was as dangerous as jumping into a pack of wolves with a sack of cheeseburgers.  Without God's help there was no coming out of it alive.  It was quite similar to preaching the message of repentance to America today.  

However, as powerful, corrupt, evil, immoral and defiled as Ninevah was, when Jonah obeyed God and began to preach the message of repentance from wickedness the entire city  began to do so supernaturally. 

Jonah's basic message was bold, straightforward, unbelievably simple and almost childlike, "Repent for your wickedness!"  

Jonah's message caught on immediately and tore through Ninevah like wildfire from one end to the other.  The people actually believed what Jonah was saying.  

Jonah's simple message preached by the anointing of the Holy Spirit was so convincing that even their evil, corrupt, anti-morality, anti-Jehovah, anti-Israel King came immediately down off his lofty throne, fell on his face and openly repented before his citizens and the Most High God.

As a result of Ninevah's repentance, the Laws of Sowing and Reaping, which for so long had been working against them, were instantly reversed and God poured His blessing upon Ninevah.

"And God saw their works that they turned from their evil way: And God repented of the evil that He had said He would do (allow) unto them; and He did it not." (Jonah 3:10) 

When Christian America does a comparatively little thing and begins to corporately repent for her primary national sins of abortion, immorality, rejecting capital punishment and tampering with Israel’s national security, Almighty God will do a big thing and crush Islamic Jihad in America, turning back America’s present deserved judgment.  

Anyone who thinks America being stripped of her power, wealth and sovereignty is unrelated to her horrific national sins, referring to the connection as “nonsense” is simply living in the Land of Tra La Lee.

Had Ninevah refused to repent only to be judged for doing so, would it have been "nonsense" to believe that Ninevah's judgment was directly connected to Ninevah's sin?  

Of course not.  

God had decreed it and God has decreed for all generations that any nation that defies Him in the ways Ninevah defied Him will pay a penalty directly commensurate to their crimes according to the Laws of Sowing and Reaping. (Galatians 6:7-9)

As a matter of fact, Christian America is even more responsible than Ninevah for the same types of sin because we have been being warned for centuries by Jesus, Who is greater than Jonah.

"The men of Nineve shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here." (Luke 11:32)

Early America Used More Wisdom than Modern America

In many ways, early Colonial America operated in wisdom to a far greater degree than present day America.  When they would find themselves facing attack, drought, sickness epidemic or any other type of communal tragedy, they knew that fellowship with God had been broken by someone. The leadership would call a council and ask who amongst them was sinning.  

When the guilty party would step forth and confess, asking forgiveness God would forgive. The attacks would cease. The skies would pour forth with sweet rain. The sickness epidemic would be turned back. 

The Laws of Sowing and Reaping were once again working for them and no longer working against them. 

Nonsense? 

Not if you believe the Bible and early American history! 

Some American Ministers need to brush up on their Bibles as well as their country's true beginnings by reading "The Light and The Glory."  It would prevent them from saying some of the nonsensical, uneducated things they say. 

Written by Rev. Peter Marshall and David Manuel, it is an historical narrative of the most amazing supernatural interventions experienced by the Founders of this Christian nation through the Laws of Sowing and Reaping. 

It will knock the nonsense right out of any Minister who calls God's ordained, prophesied judgment "Nonsense." 

Sad to say but some modern Ministers are so lacking in wisdom they could throw a rock at the ground and miss!

Early American Ministers and Christians had the wisdom of God and knew a whole lot more about God as their Lawgiver and Judge than far too many hot shot, 21st Century "Grace" Preachers do today! 

Early American Ministers and Christians knew God had a plan for America.  They knew obedience to His Word would cause that plan to come to pass.  They also knew well that their sin would severely hinder God's plan, God's provision and God's protection. They knew, like Father Abraham, that the only way to receive the blessing of God was to obey His voice, whether it be through His written Word or His actual voice.

"And the angel of the Lord called unto Abraham out of Heaven the second time, and said ... In thy seed shall all the nations of the Earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed My voice." (Genesis 22:15, 18)

Early Christian America understood, believed in and cooperated with the Word of God, the voice of God and the Laws of Sowing and Reaping.

Modern Christian America is slowly beginning to understand that her sin is severely hindering God's plan for her, but she has a ways to go yet.

The first four years of this present Presidential administration was to serve as a warning to backslidden Christian America.  It is always better to receive God’s warning than to have to receive His allowed judgment.  

Sadly, Christian America did not receive God’s warning. 

Therefore, this present extended four-year Presidential administration, we believe, is now God’s allowed judgment for rejecting His four-year warning.  

We call this "The Obama Administration. Phase Two. Judgment."

Difficulties, tragedies, calamities and disasters are going to compound now, becoming worse and worse for freedom-loving America under this allowed judgment of God. 

God's intention in allowing it is that we will turn back from our wickedness so that He may bless us once again.

What You Can Do to Make a Difference and Turn Back Judgment

Some, after reading this book, will wonder, "What can I do to make a difference and turn back judgment?"  

If you are a Pastor or a Preacher you will begin preaching repentance with zeal, weaving it into everything you minister from the pulpit.

There are many things Christian laity can do to turn their country back to God as well.  

If you have been involved directly or indirectly in any of America's gross national sins, you, personally, can repent and God will forgive you.  You can then pray for your Christian countrymen's repentance and God will honor your faith. 

It is vitally important that we pray asking the Almighty to grant Godly sorrow to the hearts of our fellow countrymen for their crimes against Him. God will do this if someone will ask Him to do this.  The Apostle Paul said Godly sorrow working in the heart of a Believer will cause them to come to the place of actually wanting to repent for their sins, whatever they may be. (2 Corinthians 7:10)

The Apostle Paul also said that repentance is a gift granted by God.  If we will ask Him to give it to the sinful, He will do so. (2 Timothy 2:25-26)

Asking God daily to grant Godly sorrow and the gift of repentance to your fallen Christian countrymen will have greater impact than most anything else you could do.

"Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much." (James 5:16) 

You may be thinking, "What else can I do?  What else can I do in addition to praying to show God I'm serious about my country repenting?" 

To start with  you could make up your mind to reject what we call "The Four Foolish Dogmas."  

Foolish Dogma 1, "I don't believe in talking about religion or politics."  

If the devil can force Christians to shy away from religion and politics, then he can easily dominate their nation. This is what he did through Adolph Hitler.  He still does it today through dictators in Middle Eastern, Asian and many other countries. Be bold to speak forth concerning your Christian beliefs. Be sure to vote for moral political leadership whether they are Christians or not. God will honor moral unsaved leaders long before He will honor immoral saved leaders. Vote pro-life. Vote pro-morality. Vote pro-Israel.

Foolish Dogma 2, "You can't legislate morality." 

Many do not believe that it is proper to impose morality through legislation.  That is a very special kind of stupid!  Christian America has legislated morality for as long as it has existed. Let someone urinate on a public sidewalk and see how far "you can't legislate morality" gets them.  America's Federal and State governments can and must legislate morality. We have come to a sick place in our society where major American cities pass laws allowing public nudity and public sex in the name of "you can't legislate morality." Take a stand against immorality by using the power of the one vote - your vote. Encourage others to vote and to vote for moral leadership. Character matters to God and it must begin to matter to Christian America once again.

Foolish Dogma 3, "Christians need only to pray and evangelize and leave politics to the people of the world." 

If ever a lie was puked forth from the bowels of Hell, this one sure was!  Christians must pray, evangelize and become politically active. It is unreasonable to believe that a Loving God would leave the governing of His children to Satan and his children alone.  The Bible says all things, including the political system this country has been built upon, came out of the mind of Christ and are to be used for His glory. (Colossians 1:16) The Bible says Christ desires to fill all things. That includes politics. The Constitution of the United States drew on the Holy Scripture as their primary source of wisdom and inspiration.

Foolish Dogma 4, "But even the Constitution says there must be a separation of Church and State." 

For decades Liberals have tried to pull the wool over the eyes of sleeping, Conservative, Christian American people with this lie. So many people have finally discovered that the words "separation of Church and State" are not even in the Constitution that liberal America has finally realized they are not going to get away with telling that lie any longer.  So they have stopped promoting it. The "separation of Church and State" lie came about when something Thomas Jefferson wrote to a body of Christians in Connecticut was deliberately twisted and spun to keep Christians from becoming involved in politics. 

Here is that statement from President Thomas Jefferson to the Danbury Baptists on January 1, 1802. 

"The First Amendment has erected a wall of separation between Church and State, but that wall is a one directional wall; it keeps the government from running the Church, but it makes sure that Christian principles will always stay in government."

So much for the "separation of Church and State" lie that has been being shoved down Christian America's throat for decades in order to keep Christians out of politics.  President Jefferson's statement was too insure that Christians would always remain involved in government, not stay out of government.

President George Washington's first act as Commander-in-Chief was to assign Christian chaplains to every American regiment. In doing so he stated, "We cannot do this (save America from tyranny) without God."

In his farewell address to the nation, President Washington said, "It is impossible to govern the world without God and the Bible... Do not let anyone claim the tribute of American patriotism if they ever attempt to remove religion (the Bible) from politics."

President Washington began and ended his political career by making sure the American people fully understood the utter importance of keeping the God of Christianity in government and not kicking Him out of government.

Of the fifty-six signers of the Declaration of Independence, the majority were Christians and nearly half of the signers were graduates of Christian Divinity school. Yet, schools today deceitfully teach our children those signers were all deists, atheists or agnostics.

The Bible is the core of all our national documents and it once made us the most stable government in the world.  We have lost that stability because we have thrown Jesus Christ and the Word of God out of government and out of society.  

Make a decision today to not believe the "separation of Church and State" lie.  That is not in the Constitution.  

With the exception of Barack Hussein Obama, the vast majority of American Presidents have fought to keep Christianity involved in government knowing it is both the will of God and the will of the Founding Fathers

Take your stand concerning "The Four Foolish Dogmas."  You are not a coward.  You are a brave Christian citizen of the greatest country in the world.  

You could also go to an abortion clinic and stand out front, asking women if they need someone to talk to.  You could hand them a tract about God's love and forgiveness and His promise to help them.  

You could talk to your Pastor and ask him why he allows sexual sin to exist and to spread within your congregation, if he is doing so. If he refuses to change, you should ask the Holy Spirit to lead you to another Church where the Pastor obeys the Bible and where God is not being defied and grieved. 

You could ask your Pastor why he allows homosexuals to attend his services without instructing them in their need to comply with the Scripture, if he is doing so.  

You could also ask your Pastor why he or she performs homosexual wedding ceremonies when the Bible forbids homosexuality, if this is occurring.  If your Pastor refuses to change and come in line with the Bible, the Holy Spirit will show you a Church where Jesus and the Bible are honored.

You could become proactive concerning capital punishment or any of these other issues by contacting your State and National Representatives and Senators in writing, letting them know how you feel about all of these issues. 

You could become involved with an organization that speaks out in defense of Israel's right to exist and to live free from terrorism, such as the American Center for Law and Justice, Post Office Box 90555, Washington, DC. 20090-0555. Online at www.aclj.org.

You can and must register to vote if you have never done so and very deliberately, purposely vote for Pro-life, Pro-morality, Pro-capital punishment and Pro-Israel candidates. 

Ask God for wisdom as to what you could put your hand to as an act of faith and obedience. (James 1:5-8)

Don't Be a Backward Christian

Far too many Christians today live what we call "backward Christianity."  They wrongly believe they can exercise faith in Jesus Christ to have all their needs met but barely give a thought to repentance on an individual or a national level when crimes are committed against God. To them, faith is their focus and repentance is mostly inconsequential.

They do not seem to realize that the Apostle Paul said repentance must always come first and foremost, and faith is to follow.

"Testifying both to the Jews and also to the Greeks repentance towards God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ." (Acts 20:21)

Repentance is a Foundational Doctrine of Jesus Christ and one that all Ministers of the Gospel are being called to shout from the rooftops during this time of the greatest national crisis in Christian America's history. (Hebrews 6:1-3)

One day I felt an urgency in my spirit. I knew God was wanting to say something to me so I immediately got into the Spirit by praying in other Tongues.  I no sooner had done that than the following interpretation came to me by the Spirit of the Lord. "Given the present condition of your country and the world, it is selfish to not make the subject of 'Repentance' the focal point of all your preaching and teaching. Many will answer to Me for this."

Christian, Preachers included, you are on probation while you are here on Planet Earth. God has not predetermined your Eternity in Heaven.  You are predetermining how you will spend Eternity in Heaven by how effectively you obey the Gospel concerning the issues presented in this Bible message to fallen Christian America.

One day you are going to stand before what the Apostle Paul called the BEMA Judgment Seat of Christ. (Romans 14:10; 2 Corinthians 5:10) 

This will be the most scrutinizing investigation you will ever endure in your life.  There you will give account for every way you did or did not obey Him while you were on this Planet. 

There you will have rewards given or rewards taken away based upon how effectively you obeyed the precious Holy written Word of God while you sojourned on Planet Earth.

The closer you walk with Jesus here according to His written Word, the closer you will walk with Him there.

Christian America has been warned by the Spirit of God concerning her gross national sins. She did not listen.

Christian America is now being severely judged by the steel punch of the Laws of Sowing and Reaping concerning her gross national sins. 

Our prayer is that Christian America will awake unto righteousness and realize being warned and repenting is always far better than being judged.

Almighty God is indeed Christian America's Loving Father and Benefactor.  

But we must always remember that He is also our Judge, Lawgiver and Sovereign King and He will not suffer long the exploitation of His grace.  

However, when American Preachers finally set aside their own agendas and preach Christ's message of repentance for our national sins and when Christian America is ready to yield to the preaching of repentance, Holy God is ready to bless America once again.  He said so through the Prophet Jeremiah.

"If that nation, against whom I have pronounced, turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil I thought to do (allow) unto them." (Jeremiah 18:80)
